    - What country your PayPal is associated ?

    - How you funded your account - using your bank account ?

    - Do you know why your access was limited ?

Reply to these questions and I might be able to help you with advice.

Well, I believe they think your account seems suspicious and ask you to verify while keeping your account limited. If you do not have a credit card, just send them proof of your address and of who you are and that should do that. It may help if they are in English. Bank statements would help too.

You need to check first why your account is limited.

Then if you dont have a Credit Card, call them and ask them for any alternatives.

Well, I supposed what you can do is to fax them all the official information that you can. Then go to your bank and try to get a credit card from them so that you can lift the limited status.

I don't think that buying from the host causes your account to be limited but rather the receipt of the money from your friend.

Basically, you will need to get your account verified because Paypal never intended for your account to remain unverified for more than a few weeks.

I think you should check the paypal help section.

this happens all the time..paypal freezes accounts if an unverified account receives some money..they'll do this specially if you have some missing/fake info in the account..the only way to get this is after 180 days or add a real credit card..

Waiting 180 days only works for some. If you read enough in this forum and others like it, you'll find that there are plenty of people who still cannot recover their money well after 180 days has passed.

I only mention it because some toss around 180 as some magic number, but each situation is different and waiting 180 days or a year or longer just doesn't work for everyone.

I also have a limited paypal account

reason: "unusual or potentially high risk"

I sent my Id and statement. After i received a mail about more requests:

"Fax tracking information for the last five payments received into your account"

    WTF?

Anybody know what is this for?

This is just a Rippoff! I never saw such a mad support like PPs. They want ID verification, get all the info needed sended, unlimit your account and then limit again and want the same info again. How stupid can anyone be?! They also want tracking info for transactions even if clearly is stated "service" as reason for the payment.

PP are the biggest scammers out there

How much money is in the account?
