well, why don't people verify their pp's? i am a minor and i have to give fake info, but when i will be 18(in a couple of months) i will create another account and i will verify it with a valid cc. what's the problem with that?
You didn't get Limited account status because you used VCC, you got limited account status cuz you used VCC FROM INDIA. I don't think they allow that. Also, if any account limitations get stuck, you WILL get your money back. You just have to wait 180 days then do some paper work.
After receiving a certain amount of money (usually $XXX), Paypal will limit your account to conduct an identity verification. Usually this has nothing to do with your activity, with your VCC, CC or country. Every new account gets limited, and every personal/premier account gets limited once in a while especially if you are doing business. Since i upgraded to business a few years ago, i have never been limited again. They may accept VCCs, and bogus info when you sign up, but beware, they do limit accounts later to check your REAL identity. No need to be paranoid unless you entered fake info and then it will be hard to keep your account, but you knew this when you signed up. Hope that helps. Take care
The Problem is that if you bothered to read the contractual agreement you consented to when you signed up with Paypal, you realized that minors are not permitted to sign up for a Paypal account. You can only do so if you are 18 years old and above. Secondly, you are not permitted to provide fake information as it would be a serious breach of contractual agreement. Contracts are contracts and when both parties agreed to it, it is typically binding and you would be subjected to it.
This is because there are so many VMI card sellers spamming them out in bulk at almost no cost. You get what you pay for.
Here's my take on people using vccs who get banned: The reason you get banned is not the vcc by itself. It's the fact that you enter the expuse number as quickly as you do. Usually in minutes, less than an hour! It doesn't even show up in online statements of real credit cards so soon.
is the VCC already expired? if its expired, if you buy another VCC, is it solve the problem? i need to know because I'm stuck too.
Yeah I tried to send 400$ to my mom and it blocked me from doing so, to bad as I signed up as I'm over 18 when I'm 14. I hope I didn't work my butt off for a month to get that 400$ and now it is gone... Any way to get it back?
If your mum shares the same address as you and you share the same IP address, it could spell trouble. Wait till you are over 18 then see what you can do. I am sure you are an intelligent person and would understand that you have done something seriously against your contractual agreement with Paypal. Just be prepared to accept the consequences of your action.
But before that if he withdraws his entire amount from his paypal account, then paypal won't have anything to do with as even if it limits account, there will be no money that will get stuck.
Yes until 6 months your 420USD are gone and after 6 months you will get a e-mail from paypal to withdraw your funds. That time you can withdraw your funds.
They have every right to hold on to your money as you have been dishonest with them and thus your contract with them can be terminated at any time. The 6 months holding period is to allow your customers sufficient time for recourse and to get their money back if they so chooses either through a dispute or a chargeback. If there is any balance after 6 months, you can keep the money. Seriously, you need to be honest when dealing with anyone especially with paypal. You know you are underage and are not allowed to sign up for an account and yet you blatantly signed up, in the real world, any wrongdoings has its consequences. Misrepresentation and fake details are not taken lightly in the real world.
