hey guys! It seems this was my unlucky week Well we all know that maximum payment limit on unverified paypal account is $100, well I baught some domains and spent hundred bucks with 60+ bucks still in account. So I thought ok I would get a credit card and verify it except that I made account with my id (jack smith) and now I think the stupid account won't accept any credit cards with different last name WHT I would earn more Jack ps: of course not blaming paypal
I am not sure asking them would help because somewhere in TOS they might have mentioned not to use any nick names in account. Still I would give it a try.
The point of the credit card verification is to verify who is using the account and the physical address. It the credit card has a different name on it, there is no way to verify your location.
You can do this - >Get some more funds in the same account and withdraw the whole amount on that name. >Refund the person who made the payment and get a new paypal and tell him to pay you back.
hey amit, nice to see your comments. thanks man. I think i can do the second option as first one would just get me a check on different name which won't do good. @checksum: yes! on unverified accounts(for india atleast) you can only transfer/pay maximum of $100 in whole lifetime. getting payment(by check) have $500 limit.
Alright, I think you misunderstood what I said. I meant is there a limit to how much money you can have on the account (the balance) if it is unverified? I'm not talking about transfering money off the account or paying for things with the account, I'm just talking about the limit for the unverified accounts balance. Thanks for clearing this up for me.
