After i got the money back into my paypal account from my bank account, they changed my access to limited and asked for the details of some personal payments. Now i have provided them with the required information but still they are not replying. When i send emails they just keep on sending automated messages. What do i do? I have applied for PAN Card but it will take time. Is it because of Pan Card? But many of friends haven't added pan card but still their accounts are not limited. Please help me. What shall i do?
Dont worry you need to only wait now if you have submitted all the information because its take time to review an account. My account is also still limited form 1st march and I am waiting for only a positive response from them.
my account is limited too..im still waiting...i choose the first option unlike the 2nd and 3rd option SSS id.. the first option needs credit card detail i think
You can call Paypal's toll free number and talk to Customer Support. Just search for it on Google. I know they have toll free numbers available for US, UK, Canada and Australia. I searched for it one time I have to talk to Customer Support to ask about putting a Paypal option on Ebay.
Just called PayPal. They told me to refund some payments. I have refunded the payments. Hope they lift the limitation. That's what they said. Your best bet would be to call PayPal.
paypal is now giving headache to all Indians because RBI made their life miserable a month ago and will again begin their drive to make paypal's life miserable after april 30. So they are putting pressure on Indians to internally put pressure on RBI to lift the restrictions. Very smart, but Paypal does not know that these things will not work in India as RBI is an independent body and does not bother whether any Indian individual has any financial problem or not.
Buddies i have posted above that access has been restored. They have lifted the limit, after i refunded the payments. But its very bad on their part as one client refused to pay me back and m waiting for the other one.
my account access is limited since i received personal payments i called paypal they said to issue a check for the remaining balance and i did so..but the check was reversed back saying today my account is locked..can anyone please help me to sort these problems out
@divyavasudevan Did you request a withdrawl after receiving personal payments? When did you receive personal payments and when was your account limited? Did the cheque get reversed after processing and you received it or did Paypal not issue the cheque at all. When did you request the cheque and when did it reverse back? Just let us know so that we can help you sort out the issues

yeah but they did not actually do anything illegal - like frauds or something. Yes, they did step out of line, but PayPal has already removed the Personal Payments option, then why are they digging up old corpses.
They prolly got bored freezing people's accounts and taking hordes of cash and decided to dig up old corpses just for the fun of it lol
@cool_PTC i received personal payments at jan .,.and i dont know why they suddenly limited my account now..and i requested a check and it was reversed saying my account was locked before processing!!/... i requested the check on 20th it was reversed on 21st
