My paypal account hacked and closed by the hacker

Someone have hacked my paypal account, transferred all my money to his paypal account and closed my paypal account.

I need your advice how to deal with this situation.

I have already emailed paypal customer service. I tried to call to help center but it is telling that it can't find my phone no. associated with the account.

Please help me with your suggestions.

 

Was your paypal account linked to ur bank?
If it was , call your bank tell them, call paypal cruse them out..say u know u got hacked.. b/c u have no money,and account's closed..tell them ur bank info..this is why i dont trust paypal with bank info/ cc

 

My paypal account is not associated with bank account.

 

I guess you were not loosing much money, If you can identify the person of hacker, you tell about him. use paypal customer service.

Any Credit Card attached to it? How can you prove em that it was your account?
Calling them and explaining the situation is the only thing I can think of at the moment. Ask them to check the country from which the account was asked to close, if it's different than yours then you might have a chance ONLY IF they're willing to help you out.

 

So wait, ur telling us, somebody hacked ur unverified paypal account and made it verified, so that means either he gave them his info, or he edited.. a bill .. Call paypal again and tell them to look up ur last name..they have all the records..

 

Thank you very much for your response. I have tried to call them already but as my paypal account has been closed by the hacker paypal system is not identifying me as a paypal account holder.

I have already sent an email to paypal customer care. I have also send my IP from which I access my paypal account so that they can find out I have not closed my paypal account. My paypal account is verified and never faced any kind of bad situation or had been limited.

Suggestions will be welcomed my friends. The money in my paypal account is my hard earned money. Please help me with your suggestions.

I verified my paypal account using a Credit Card. I am mainly using my Paypal Account for paying to my Web Hosts.

 

Oh, hey do u think if i went to get a pre paid visa gift card and put my info on tat card and tried to verify with paypal will it work? lol..

Just call Paypal and explain them the situation

they will temporarily hold the stolen funds ..

 

first of all leave a mail to paypal customer support and request for verification.

 

I think he assumed you are an us citizen
US Paypal account can only verify by add us bank account or order Paypal Debit card

 

I think the best solution for this probleme is to contact paypal service .
explaine them what happen , and give them some information that prof that it's was your paypal account , it will take time but I think it's the only solution .
if your paypal account was unpty forget about this probleme and open a new account .
and start using anti-virus and anti-trajans , and don't buy in any website .

 

Paypal has horrible service, they probably wont help.
Try to find out this guys name yourself and then take it from there. If yo have his name, you can find his address and then go from there.

 

Update:

I have called paypal. I given them all the necessary information needed for their verification. The first agent transferred my call to the resolution department and informed me that they will transfer the issue to the same department. But none picked up my phone in resolution department though I waited for 15 long minutes. Now I am waiting for their response through email.

I have a few other questions:
1) Should I open a new paypal account?
2) Wait for the paypal reply to my email?

 

Do not open a new account yet.
Wait for paypal to reply. I would even try calling again.

 

NEVER associate your bank account with paypal, they dont require it for 100% verification, you can get around it with a few simple e-mails

 

How to withdraw the money then?
