You need to get used to working and making it the old fashioned way...on your own hard work and sweat. If you are lucky enough to have a family member invest, then cool, but How much are you offering your dad in return, or do you just want him to invest his money ? If you wait for others to help you, you will never make it in this world. The only person you can depend on is you. Many of us have made money by bum marketing methods to raise up to other methods. Adwords is not the holy grail, and most likely with your first go around with it, you will not be successful.
My parents helped me. They conceived me, fed me, sent me to school, and I returned to a warm and loving home every day. Anything beyond that I was on my own. If you must, try proving to your parents that Adsense is legitimate. Show them all the Photshopped Adsense earnings pics that people post here.
No dont bother with AdWords, especially if you dont have the cash - you should focus on building good backlinks for appropiate keywords and try the frre route, then you will find it feels much better
Well may be this kid really has a talent in writing. Good thing is, he is starting early. Listen, start from bottom, don't cut corners, learn the basic, make mistakes, that's ok as long as you learn from it. There is no overnight success though some people appears to brag it!
I see from your site that you got some heavy weight sponsors Oracle, Apple etc. They must be paying you big bucks
In one sense your father is right, that is, you can not earn a good amount from adsense through adward ad. Though adward is not fake. But it’s not like that he doesn’t want to help you. One tip I can give is never use Adwords if your main source or only source of income is Adsense. The keywords you are bidding on will most likely be on your site, seeing as it is the same niche. Only use Adwords if you know what you are doing and known how to use the traffic effectively. Few have used Adwords and been very successful, others have either had a little success or lost money. Make sure to read guides if you want to give it a go and make sure you don't blow your budget in one day due to a silly mistake!
if i m on your father place then do same thing. becaz u r newbiew and anybody never belive on online earning. when i m start online work then my father also say me same words. but i m never ask for money from them. u can work for your manually becaz u r have only 1 blog. so make backlink your self and advertise on various forums. u can chouse backlink exchange so u will get some traffic. do manual directory submission it helps in good serp. blog commenting also good method to get backlinks.
In my opinion, don't go straight spending your money on Adwords. You can try other ways to get traffics for your site. As for an example, you can always use social bookmarking. Many have the service to vote your articles there with cheap price here in DP. You can exchange your links with others too, for free. Entrecard.com also can be used to advertise your site for free. Then only when you have earn from Adsense, you can use the money to spread your wings further. Don't just ask your dad for the money because he doesn't really know how this things work. Good luck!
Sort the site out first, at the moment it looks a bit cluttered and hard to read. I come to the site and really don't know what im looking for or what its about. Chances are if I clicked an adwords link to your site, I would be clicking the back button and once that happens, your money is wasted. Of course, if someone finds your site through the search engine and it takes them directly to an article with information they are looking for, then you are more likely to get them looking around, clicking adsense ads, etc.. If you spend $100 on adwords and make $1 back through adsense I can't see your dad being impressed.

I don't think your parents owe those money to you. If you really believe that Adwords will help your project, go out and find a part time job to earn those money.
learn the free way first before trying the paid one. then, show to your parents what you have generated online. I think they will allowed you to set adwords. But make sure you already have a lot of knowledge regarding with adwords.
