My pages are stuck in Google Supplemental Results

    Hi everyone,

A while back, I programmed my website in a way that the link would say www.domain.com/index.php?product=001. However, for some reason, there are links in Google that appear as www.domain.com/index.php?product=1. While it still works, it's creating issues of duplicate contents. Now, all my pages are stuck in supplement results.

This was before I knew anything about SEO.

Now, my question is, how would you suggest for me to fix this? Any inputs are welcome.

    Thanks.

I believe with either the mod_rewrite or .htaccess you can change the permalinks on your site to have text descriptions, which will help improve your seo and probably help your problem.

Well i checked and the first link was not getting indexed as you can see here...
    http://livepr.raketforskning.com/?u=www.domain.com/index.php?product=001
Neither of the links are being cached. You may want to check in google sitemaps to see more info on the site at webmasters tools.
Depending on the info gathered you may want to try and resubmit the pages or site to google with your any New or old info.
The only way to fix the problem is to go to the source i would assume.

Adding quality descriptions and keywords may help if you havent already done it.

    thx

    Hey,

I think I really confused you. www.domain.com is just an example I am use, it's not actually my site.

    Thanks.

are you using the same description for each page? if you are that could be a contributing factor

A new website of mine just got fully indexed, has over 4000 pages and provides information on resorts etc, i think title tags play a major role in this. ALL pages except the index are supplemental so im trying to fix it up now :(

I have encounter the same problem with my 3 sites before, the reason why I got this error befor is that I change my mod rewrite after that all pages appear to be supplemental. What I did is that redirect all 404 pages to my my index page... then get back link from high pr site after 2 weeks all supplemental pages gone
