I have actually 3 websites with 1,2,3 pageranks. Till a few days before my website coolfacts.in had a page rank of 2 and tubedown had a page rank of 0. Now I was doing some backlinking work for coolfacts.in. But I did nothing for tubedown.net Now when I checked the pageranks for coolfacts.in it decreased to pr1 and for tubedown.net it increased to pr2. So Can anyone please tell me what could have happened wrong? I mean doing nothing is better than doing some work? :/ And for obsurant1st.biz it stayed the same pr3. i think u r doing spamming on the sites. So all of backlinks are not useful and google search engine understand spamming. So PR decrease.
No i don't think i did spamming. Anyway I don't know, the line between spamming and blog commenting is very thin! :/
If you're doing blog commenting then first choose some high PR blogs relatively from your niche and first make sure that those blogs are active, not dead and blogs are not banned by Google. Try to do diverse link building like links from forum signature, yahoo answers etc.

Dont try to do spamming just make original content and try to drive more backlinks you will definitely get back your pagerank.....
People focus too much on PR, the only thing PR is good for is attracting spammers. If you're getting traffic and sales there's nothing to worry about. Now, if your traffic decrease, THEN worry, otherwise don't stress
I had a similar thing happening with my website and I looked at google forums for the answer. There might have been some directories linking to you which lost their PR value or simply shut down. As everyone says Dont bother about PR work on content and conversions.
Have you already considered blog commenting, forum posting services? I would also recommend you to add your site to your personal forum profile signature.. it can be useful in terms of getting traffic I think.
Several sites have lost their page rank. For example, Facebook's PR was 10 earlier but now it is 9 after recent PR update.
Update your website content and also try to get back link from relevant websites. I don't advice you to do directory submission, article submission or other social bookmarking. These time consuming process and very temporary result is reflected by thise practices.
