    Hi! If anybody knows how loge does it take to put in Google the number of pages of website? My site has been indexed about 2 weeks ago - www.sciencejournalist.ru
    And I can see 3-4 indexed pages but in Kayword tracker its numeber is 0. Why? I think that it shold be no less then 1 page.

    The "Pages In URL" only updates when the your back links change.

    What does it mean - "the your back links change"?
    My back links is always 0. Does it mean no one site is linked with my site?

    It means the Pages In URL column isn't going to change until the back link number changes.

    Google only updates the backlinks that it knows about once every 2-3 months. This isn't to say that nobody is linking to you, or even that google doesn't know about them.

    MSN tends to index backlinks faster then other sites, take a look at the link below as this will give you a better idea of how many links to your site have been picked up so far.

    Bear in mind that if you upload the advanced useage script (read FAQ) then you can monitor MSN and Yahoo backlinks with the tool as well as Google.

    Sorry to sound stupid, but what the heck is a backlink? Is this the number of other sites that contain a link to your site? Is this one of those things you have to pay a service to provide?

    You can submit to free directories to get you started for just your time and no finacial outlay, but make sure they are se friendly! Check out vilesilencers SE friendly free directory list (www.vilesilencer.com then click on free directory list in the catagory list on the left)- nice to see another equine related person (read another post where you said welsh pony was a key word :D)

    actually, i've seen a few times when backlinks changed every month, but it is taking longer now. backlinks update now takes around 2-3 months, while a PR update takes somewhere from 4-6 months.

    You got about 2 months to start you back links, plus you should go to google and yahoo and summit you urls. other will follow later on ther own.
