My page just hit 8th of 5.9 million results in 5 days :D

Just managed to SEO enough to get my page to 8th of 5.9million on keywords that were perfectly targeted to my website. how? i just googled my butt off on how to SEO and followed forums like this, thanks!!!!

 

Glad to hear it! Now you just have to work on getting it up to the top 3, that's where all the traffic is: people click on the top 3 results more than the others.

 

congrats! Be aware that in the beginning your sites might rank well and slowly fall to its "natural" position. Continue to link build and i'm sure you will be just fine.

But to be honest, it really does not matter if you are first or last... I am 3rd out of 197,000,000 on google... And better yet, it has to do with the economy which everybody is concerned about... But guess what? No money!!! People do not click on ads.. Maybe its because of the kids making virus/malware abuse out there... Maybe people are just tired of ads and bypass them now... Whatever the case maybe, it may feel good to say, hey I am 3rd out of 197,000,000 on Google, but in the end, what good is it?
Sorry, but I think I may be one of the few people on this forum to tell you how it really is...

If people do not click on ads just force the cookie on them that is where the money is

 

use article submissions with proper anchors and make it rise in SERP
