I've had a a page that has been live and linked to for a few months now. I search the title on Google, and no matter how deep I go, I cannot find my link. Instead, I find a topic in which I posted this link, and several mirrors of my page. I don't see how this is possible. Can anyone help me?

I don't know exactly but I think Google crawler recognized this web page as a directory not a webpage. Go create a sitemap using any of the free tools available on internet and submit it to google through Google Webmasters account. make sure your sitemap contains this URL - /hanoi/

It must have happened due to duplicate content.

in Google, type site:www.yoururl.com, does your site's index show up?

if not, then Google hates you. if so, your site may have content that google thinks is duplicate.

whenever i create a new site, they're indexed on the first day and ranking at least on the 4th-5th page for the main keyword after the 2nd day.

make sure your content is unique. make sure you get some backlinks for google to crawl. make sure you get/submit sitemap and webmaster verified (not as important).

Wow, Then you must be quite good. Does this mean that you were loved by Google since the other guy who doesn't have his page indexed is hated by Google?

Whether is has duplicate content or not, it will still be indexed by Google.

I found this page on your website: http://direct.brandonevans.org/hanoi/ , and it is indexed in Google. I can not understand why you have made a subdomain called direct and copy the page /hanoi/ to it. Sorry to say that your website has no better SEO value. Please do the following to make your site valuable for Google and for users too:

    - Give a better navigation
    - Write unique content for pages
    - create a robots.txt to forbid crawling of Java script and other non essential documents of your site
    - Create sitemap.xml and submit it to your webmaster tool.
    - submit your site to Google add url
    - Try to grab some relevant links

You need to put xml sitemap on your website and also submit it in webmasters tools. It will be indexed in less than 24 hours

It may take around a month in indexing, just wait if you have submitted your sitemap to Search engines.

Submitting it to Google webmaster account can be worth beneficial due to the fact that it will show those that get indexed. Also, through this one can know track the traffic coming to the site.

Always try to ping your site with pinging services about 10 times a day and check google for indexing through this command
