My own SEO strategy to get indexed fast

I have been running a few old sites (3+ years old) and new sites (less than 1 year old). You can't apply the same SEO tips for old and new sites.

They don't work the same. I mean, I can submit articles or new pages to social bookmarking sites 5 times a week. However, I can't do the same with new sites.

If I submit my new sites to social bookmarking sites too often, I will get reindexed. If you want to get indexed faster, then don't try to get many back links for new sites.

In other words, I can't get many backlinks too often for new sites.

    Am I wrong?

    Any idea is appreciated.

Thanks and have a good day!

I don't think that you are right. Too many backlinks means 'thousands'??? As long as you don't do any blackhat methods or not more than hundreds of links per day, all will work.. You can do the same things for both new and old sites

What I meant is many backlinks (like 20 or 40, less than 100). I submit to 20 or 40 social bookmarking sites on each new article I created. So, I think I will get 20 or 40 back links from each site.

For new sites, I think these 20 or 40 every 3 days are too much?

    Thoughts?

20-40 bookmarks are just normal.. I don't think that its too much. People often do much more with their posts..

That's norma for old sites, but maybe not normal for new sites?

Or maybe I submit new articles to the same social bookmarking sites?

    thanks.

I know for a fact that you're wrong. There's plenty of people that backlink the chit out of new sites (I'm talking thousands per day) with no "sandboxing" or "slap" from Google.

It's a myth that too many backlinks too quickly is bad. Plus, unless you're pinging them all immediately after setting them up, search engine bots won't find them all at the same time anyways ;)

    Edit:
Here's a thread if you want some more info. As usual there's lots of people stating their (incorrect) opinions at the top, but then people who actually know what they're talking about like "Rich Jerk" chime in.

I agree with imkane. Get as many backlinks (while remaining whitehat) as you can, especially if you keep adding content to your site.

Backlinks, especially from authority sites and pages, are what aid in increasing your PR and your listing in the SERPs.

Submitting to social bookmarking sites will aid in receiving this result.

Google is slow to index backlinks so I wouldn't worry too much about trying to get a backlinks for new sites.

Social bookmarking helps to get indexed fast especially on really popular sites. Another method is to ping your pages and RSS feeds as well as submit RSS feeds to feed aggregators.

Check this forum.. You must do some Onsite seo, and most of all you need to start building backlinks.

Make sure those links are form relevant and DoFollow sites. Google and other search engines gives more value on the quality compared to those irrelevant sites that you are getting.

in my opinion 5 to 10 links a day is more than enough if you can do it on a consistent basis, 20 to 40 links a day is just too much in my opinion and you will get bored soon and stop building links after few days, so just stick to limited amount of links like 5 a day and be consistent with it and in my opinion its more than enough.

I think it points to excessive linking... anything that is to much is bad.It doesn't give exact amount, just get quality links as possible.
