How do I block page impressions generated by my own computer/IP address and being reflected in the daily adsense reports overview?

I am pretty sure that google blocks your page impressions automatically, but I am not 100% sure.

You may use the Ad block plugin in FireFox.

You don't need to do that, adsense is aware that we need to check our pages.

I think they are only worried about clicks and not page impressions. We all need to visit our sites to see if the post etc is looking ok. Good Luck !

Adblock is a great plugin for FF. It helps me avoid clicking on my ads, because when i play some game with clicking my mouse always runs out from the game screen and I was very near from clicking ad. :)

maybe Adblock ( i never try it ) but in other way you can't block your page impressions generated by your own computer

Once your traffic gets high enough, your own page impressions aren't going to matter at all.

    They only worry about clicks.
    The page impressions are acceptable.

I myself visit my site and its pages more than 100+ times. Especially on those days in which I need to do major updates in site design , navigation or posts, my own impressions cross 300+....

So i blocked ads from windows host file , but then it disables google ads from all the sites on net... so now I use a firefox extension ADBLOCK... its a good one .. I have simply blocked the ads for my own adsense account number.. so the ads dont appear on my site when I visit the site from my computer..

No need for adblock. Turn javascript off.

There's nothing to worry about as long as you are not clicking your own ad..

With a low traffic, I would still suggest turning javascript off so that accurate stats can be obtained. This will be helpful for ad placement, new trials, ads' effectiveness, etc.

U r wrong, adsense says they can't block ads for a specific url like ur own. So better not to visit ur site or don't visit to many pages
