My own Google Icon Design

wow! I like and want help to create a design like it from you. You have good hold on colors and designing. Nice looking.

 

dont like the cursive letter but i like the implementation , i use this technique sometimes in my logo designs too

 

I think it looks really good so far. Its got a fresh look to it.

Wellt he execution for your idea was done well, but for a Icon it lacks alot of simple design that makes it an icon. It would probably be better to add some form of gradient to add to a 3D effect, as well as adding either gloss or highlights and shadows. As of now it just looks really flag though, and unfortunately icons today(web 2.0) all have some form of 3D depth to them.
