my OS keeps on updating

    i have a newly bought laptop, lenovo unit then a pre-installed Windows 7 Starter. everyday i am connected in the internet and i keep on seeing that my OS was again and again updated. it sucks! every time my OS was been updated the machine runs so slow. question anyone had this experience? thanks.

    Yes, Windows 7 takes TONS of system resources when it updates causing huge lag.

    If it bugs you that much you can disable it from updating automatically or from doing it so often ;)

    I never had this experience... Try to write down the reference codes of installed updates and then try to compare them next time you start your computer.. if they are same then there is some problem... and if not then allow windows install these essential updates for you.
