My opinion on best shopping cart software (Just spent a while trying the options)

I spent a while trying out different things and in the end I used Opencart. I havn't tried them all but out of the ones I looked out, OpenCart was best for me.

They had the nicest look and they were free. The only issue is it wont seem to let me add products, keeps saying I havn't filled out all the fields.

If you are looking for a good solution though, try open cart. Lots of good features. Some of the other ones were okay(they came as a one-click-install with my host) but not as good or customizable, or they make you pay over $100 to remove their branding.

    Hi mate,

In my opinion, Best shopping cart software definitely differs depends on person's need. Because i did not satisfied with open cart and its like tough thing to add products and payment ways. Yes, but for some it may good. I feel more comfort with zeuscart - shopping cart script, which is open source and user friendly.

When I was thinking of launching an online store I came across many shopping carts and I also choose OPENCART. But I found everything to be PAID. I mean all plugins are up for PRICE. Nothing is free. Although opencart is FAST, USER-FRIENDLY, and better than others but still I feel that it lacks good support.

A good solution that won't let you add products? I would consider that a fairly serious disadvantage..

ZenCart seems to be a good one in my opinion and they charge but it's really not alot for the support that they offer. If you're looking for more than messageboard support then free is typically not the best option. I've also heard good things about OpenCart and OsCommerce however for those interested in free carts.
