Hello, I've got a revision website at www.revisemenow.com and for those of you who are students in the UK, you will know that exams start next Monday and last roughly a month. Therefore my aim is to finish off the main content within a week AND market it ASAP. That's where the problem comes in. Firstly the good news is I am a student myself, so I can tell my friends and hope they tell their friends and so on... but I dont think this is a hugely great idea. Myspace is an option, otherwise I'm stuck for ideas, my budget isn't big and time is short. So my question to people on this forum is how would you market this type of site with a low budget, in a short space of time? Any ideas appreciated. Thanks.
Nice idea. I agree with your MYspace idea. That is a good place to start. I also recommend a press release on various school bulletin boards in the UK, and joining these school forums. Handing out fliers at school fairs, libraries, etc maybe also helpful.
