My on page SEO issues

Hello guys, I am starting on page seo on my wordpress site and have some questions please. First, I need to edit my Home page URL but not seeing the EDIT option next to the Permalink in my dashboard as the screenshot shows?

 

Hi...You cannot edit the "home" page url...u can edit the urls for the inside pages or other pages and posts.
To edit the home page url u have to go into Settings

 

Go to Settings > Reading and then select the page you want to use for your homepage.

BTW guys, do you use a keyword in your HOME page url after from your type of business so like www.food.com/best-pizza or not please? If yes, just one keyword?

 

at first go to your site/wp-admin
then setting

 

No keyword for home page. Just the domain name.

In my dashboard, the image shows what I believe is my HOME page? If yes, I wish to work on the Title but I am also seeing a filed named 'Tagline' and I am not understanding that, does the tagline info show on google please?

 

Tagline is a short statement similar to a subtitle or advertising slogan in your website.
*Just put your main keywords in your tagline, separated with a comma. For make sure Google understand better what your site is about, and also visitors will be more likely to click on your site from the SERPs.
