My old buddy got huge

This guy used to be my neighbor. Total starving artist working in his garage.

He is crazy talented, I'm sure you've seen his stuff before.

Now he's all over TV and he's one of the best selling artists in the country. I have an original that he gave me for peanuts as a birthday gift. One of his first Martini paintings I think. Before the dancing olives came around. Now his originals sell for college fund kind of money!

 

he's doing art work for several bands as well, right?

 

for some people, hard work and perseverance pays...

LOL sorry about the misunderstanding . I know he did a cd cover for dishwalla but I don't know about others. He's on MTV pretty frequently these days (well, frequently for an artist).

He had a commissioned painting of a cheetah that I saw a while back. I could swear it was a photo until I was inches away from it and squinting.

 

Really excellent stuff. Jeesh I wish I was born with talent like that.
