Hey I am after some ideas for what my next windows application prject should be. I have made my HTML editor and now I want to move on. So what type of software do you think I should start looking into and developing that has potential if I decide to go commercial with it? Any Ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Hang out on some web forums for a week and take note of the things people either a)ask a lot of questions about or b)complain a lot about Build something to solve those problems. Rob
This is a great advice, you probably start with. Even think about VIRUS PROBLEM as well. If you can provide the right stuff... a large # of visitors; waiting for you.....

I am using the same languages as you said, except that I am m ore confident in VB6 than vb.NET 2005 So can you share your idea?

I would think something less complicated then High Jack this for people to identify problems... and also stop them at the same time... something that is very low on resources to be effective... Lhlalyam
Make a live windows gadget where you can add your website and mysql if necessary so you can control your websites with this gadget (Watch visitors movement + possibility to expand to a graphic view and start making community for this to get new ideas for that gadget )
i have no idea on programming live windows gadget but don't you think that google analytics does that for you?
