My new website!

This is my new website please critique. I don't know if you guys remember my first page I built but it was absolutely horrendous.

I am still in the process of building it.

If you have any helpful tips please shoot them my way.

try to have some dark background for the top portion of your page.
use some light background for the left and right columns
it looks simple and nice.
Try to make it more attractive.

Thanks for the comments. I am going to mess around with the colors a little bit to see if I can get it a little bit more attractive.
I have been spending most my time setting up the adsense. I have never used it before. I am hoping to cancel out some of my PPC cost by using adsense.

 

Greendog - the best way to cancel out your PPC cost isn't with adsense... It's with clickbank sales! If I were you, I'd take the adsense ads off your page and put more focus onto what you are selling.

 

very clean design... simple... nice colours... but perhaps lacking some life...

a clean web 2.0 logo perhaps?

 

I would use just a bit more content.

Also on the top it says, "Online Fitness Books", but you are only recommending, with a review, one eBook. I would recommend a couple and give them ratings.

Your links to other fitness books should be cloaked, redirected, or onmouseovered. Just don't blatantly make it look like you will receive a commission if they were to purchase an eBook.

Yeah in my first post I said I am still building it. I am still working on the content. I just wanted to make sure I was going in the right direction since I have never done this before.

THANKS for all the BREAT advice.

 

Adsense is so tempting but as long as the commission is a lot higher than the cost of your traffic stick to clickbank or maybe other affiliate programs.
