I recently created a website which has a few web/graphic design articles and tutorials.

I need you to tell me what you think of my website before it expands..

Be as brutally honest as you want ;)

I like it. Nice and clean, but the animation in the bottom right takes a while to load. Also, how about RSS in the the website bar.

Okay, when you say RSS on the bar, do you mean the navigation bar, were it says home, tutorials, articles, etc?

I think the website takes too long to load because there's too many images. What you can do it convert the images into CSS codes so that it loads faster.

I know the load time is slow for both, I'm not really working on speed atm, I'm working on design. I'm just wondering which one do you guys prefer?

Dude, it's really taking a long time to complete loading on my average 84kb/s connection. Let me see....close to two minutes. The site is nice though, as I understand you need to impress on the design aspect but visitors like myself will get turned off with that kind of slow loading speed.

Yeah, If you look at the second version I've decided to remove those things because it was confusing a few people... I havn't changed the nav bar though.
