My New Stock image site.

I am starting my own stock image site, and would like to get some opinions on the look and feel of the site, this is something I have wanted to do for some time now , and hope to have a lot of fun doing it.
All of the photos have been taken by myself, and I have hundreds more to put up. The photos are at about 20% of the original size for bandwidth, and I am unsure on how I should handle the larger size’s of said images? Should I offer 3 different size’s in zipped format or just the full size in a zip file?
Any and all coments or sugestions would be apreciated. Site is http://www.2bitstock.com

    Hi Groundup

Nice site but look a little dated for me.
Also maybe you could buy some plr images to fill out all the image sections just to get things going!

    cheers

Thanks for the review, I hope to have at leased 25 pics per category by the end of the month.

I think the site is a great idea and it looks great! I think offering the pic in one size should be enough, as long as it is large enough.

Thanks WebSlice for your input, I was thinking of zipping the pictures at 50% for download to keep bandwidth low and the image big enough to work with for most projects.

Thanks lonlygurl, it is the iceburg template from OS designer, and I used graphics from another template I bought awhile ago to change the look up a bit.

Looks nice. Very easy to navigate, which is important. I wish that the logo stood out more, though.

I also think that having the images in a smaller size to help with bandwidth is smart, since all of the images are free anyways. The whole "get what you pay for" idea.

I had wanted to get a logo up quick and the work on content, then I will revisit the logo.
I get stuck taking to much time on logo's and headers that I can get nowhere, so I tried doing it the other way around this time.

Hey there, hmm, where to start, too be honest, I don't like it visually, I find the bar images WAY too heavy, that is all I see on the page, and my eyes keep bouncing from dark heaver bar image (nav or header) and don't know where to stop. I would definitely tone down the colour and the actual number of them, oddly enough, it was pretty hard for me to tell what the site was about because the focus wasn't on the fact that this was an image gallery. clean and simple is the way to go, clean and simple (at least on the front page!)

Did I forget to mention I wanted only positive reviews :D Thanks for your input I will take it into account, I don't think I can make more clean and simple.
