Looks too much reddish and after a while eyes start loosing focus and a mild headache sets in, so change colors, no one likes such "hot" colors these days, its era of soothing colors like green, blue and others. Or even red but not like urs its just too bright and hurts eyes. Its all about firefreaks but still water is also part of firefreaks which is blue. Also blue part of flame is the hottest area .

Just too busy! Prefer a minimalist approach. Less ads - they may actually increase clicks.

I know it can be a pain making templates for Joomla!, Ive been down that road. So I know for possibly your first template it's a good one. However, take the tips given here to build your next, or purchase one, that's what I did. lol

    I like the red color.

But, I can't read the text that you have on the bottom of the page unless I highlight it. It's the part about it being an entertainment website.

Definately take the advice above, and change that background red color.

Please dont change it to grey!
The red is good, very lively, but some people wont like it. But I assume you dont want to look like every other site on the net, and grey is a bland wash-out 90% of the time.
I would remove the ad in the header, it spoils the whole look.

I think overall it looks bright and should appeal to your potential users.

I think it's wayyyy too red. I would recommend making a logo that has a flame in it or something similar, removing the red background and menus, and just doing a white page that has accents of red and orange around it (with links, headers, etc.) It will look more professional, still get the "fire" message across, and not make people as anxious to leave.

i like the layout, but as others have said too much red, a patterned background might make it easier on the eyes as opposed to just a gradient
