My new site, pls comment on design and content

the poll section is badly inserted and the colors are in your face, navigation is a bit confusing, change the navigation font instead if that italic font!

 

My suggestions:

shorten your top logo, maybe 468x60 would be enough...poll needs some work and alignment imo.

The color needs readjustment, poll has to blend into the page and menu needs to be placed some where else. Otherwise it is a very interesting topic.

 

Personally I would change:

• The header, it needs to define the site more, it looks too thin at the moment with little graphics and writing that may be difficult to read for some people
• The header generally should be above the ads and navigation bar, thats why it's a head-er, head, top of your body
• Change the fancy font, there are some more simple fonts out there which will be easier to read and look just as good
• The colours could do with being changed a little, if just to tone down the brightness of the green, it can hurt your eyes after a while
• A poll with a colour scheme that matches if possible?

Apart from those, nice site, simple, looks generally user friendly and I can see you've put in some effort to stick to a solid colour scheme and I appreciate that

 

I have just made some changes to the color and to the links icon. Hopefully that makes my site better

 

I'd suggest don't use so much space for the images up top. Colours are a bit bothersome.

 

Too dark , You need to add borders to make the site look more organized.

 

The banner could be better, as well as the poll integration with regard to the colors.

I didn't go to all the pages but overall here are my impressions. The black background and the color scheme go really well with the topic of the site. Sorta futuristic.

This page seems wider than the others: http://www.mysolarcar.net/green.htm

I think it's good to go as it is, maybe come back and look at it again in a couple months. My only nit would be to add text links at the bottoms of the pages.

 

the color are intense but for nature which is web its great

 

just keep on working on your color combination. to keep it easy to read by your visitor.

 

try playing with the adsesne colors to get btter CTR

 

1) Change the poll colors. should match site theme.
2) Increase padding in pool table.
3) Remove italics in menu font.
4) Possibily add mouse over on menu buttons for better understanding.

 

The header and the poll look completely out of place you need to change those.

 

I think you need to pay careful attention to colors and you should keep your site neat & simple. But it's a good effort!
