My new site needs your reviews

Hi there,

I started to work on my new website http://www.mysuse.org

Can you please tell me your opinions? What's good, what's bad, what should i add?

 

The layout looks great. The color scheme seem to work well, too.

About your banner, have you tried moving the text (mySUSE.org) to the bottom of the banner? To me, it creates a more interesting negative space and the text would fit better with the cameleon on the left.

The tables are simple and elegant. However, the navigation menu on the left (right underneath the login fields) have black borders around each cell, then its table has a grey think border, and the border meets the other table's border from the right... it feels a bit busy.

 

I think the layout looks really nice, the site did take a while to load you might want to change the header image to png-8.

 

It looks fine overall, but I would add something aligned right in your top bar. It looks kinda plain @1280*1024.

 

The boobs look fine .. ops! sorry .. I though you ask us to review your avatar..hehe

By the way, your page at http://www.mysuse.org/modules/news/archive.php has this error

I think the page looks fine. Just like other Linux pages..

I was a bit wary of clicking on something that looked like a misspelling of misuse, especially with that avatar

Looks like it could shape up to be a good site.

 

Good design, easy on the eyes, text seems small but then maybe it's my browser (FF) setting.

 

you have a good website using xoops as your content managment system. but the design is so simple.

 

gotta love the layout

One thing you need to change is the text size. I can see them fine and I have perfect vision but they should be at least 12px.

Thank you for all your suggestions and sorry for not being online for so long (personal problems). I'm now back online and waiting for suggestions.
I will change the banner these days and I will think of something to add on the right part of the top bar - any suggestions ?

The design is cool. Why not add some Colors. I feel, too much of white background
