OK. I have been building this idea up for a while and now it's up but not entirely running. The basic structure is up. Just waiting for ym developer genius to put the database in place and build up the items in it.

I would welcome any suggestions/comments/criticisms from all of you.

    Here's the site www.mymoviereview.info

OK. Hit me with it folks!

I would use the film strip on the left as a seperate column instead of hiding it behind the content. I would also eliminate the film strip from the right side in the header.

My personal opinion is that you should move the content columns to the center-right of the page, so that it's over the white background. Use the film strip on the left for navigation, links, ads, etc...

Yellow stars above links are distracting. You have sufficient place on red bar. Please see attached suggestion for placing the yellow stars.

I would use the film strip on the left to create a menu, it does not look so nice hidden away.

Thanks to all for your comments. The film strip on the left is covered only on the home page. It will be used for links on other pages where links will be present. However, things are still progressing and a little adjusting here and there will be done.

    Ramakrishna P,
Thanks for the suggestion. I have forwarded this to my developer. I am certain he will make it look like you suggest.

Kee p it coming guys. I want all criticism happening soI end up witha very nice looking site. I am trying to get a slice of www.imdb.com's market. It will take time though.
