So finally it's up and runnig, what do you think?

    http://www.findinforums.com/

basicly the idea is that forums are the ultimate source of knowledge, you can always get all the info you want in forums, without all the scrapers, adsense sites and other stuff flooding the internet. :)

That's a beta version, so there may be some bugs etc..please report
    Any suggestions are welcome

Looks impressive on first try, but can't tell yet if it'll save me more time than searching major forums one by one.

One problem I noticed is using quotes in the search term. :)

It's quite an interesting site. This would come in handy when I need forum for post exchanges and what not.

Nice job -- I'll be coming back to this, too.

The only thing I'd say as far as a critique is just to make the top graphic just a bit more polished. I like simplicity, just like you have it, but it's not as memorable as say "google." That's just the designer in me talking. Really, though, this is just a minor critique.

    Good luck with the site!!

Yer site is really cool.. Having a directory like structure/portal in the homepage where users can browse for forums would be more useful..

Anyways its nice.. Good luck with it!

Well, it will be pretty hard to include all the millions of forums into a directory heh ;)

It's nice to see some search terms, being used, can guess who searched for this?

    :p

That's what all of these forum directories do.

It's a fairly saturated market, so I woudn't get into it.

But... how do I add my forums to your search engine?

It's pulling results from google, but only those from forums, so my search engine supports all main forum softwares.

So just make sure your forum is indexed by google and you'll find it here somewhere :D

Well, the main idea is to track the searches to hopefully be able to see some statistics :D

I don't know if this is a bug, but check out these search results for when I typed in grunge. Some of the results are really grunge forums, but not all.

The #3,4, and 6 results don't seem to be grunge related:
I wonder if too much attention is being paid to the themes (maybe it says "Grunge theme created by..." or something like that) instead of searching only post titles and content.

Not sure if that helps at all, but good luck with it - very cool idea.

    thanks jim,
well, relevance is up to google, cause the results are fetched from there, but there's definitely couple more bugs here...
