My New Experiment with AdSense

Starting today, I am experimenting the less ads more money cliched quote. I removed ads from inside my post and right sidebar. I have only one ad unit which is anyways my highest clicked ad unit. Let us see if this gets me same clicks with more earnings. I will report the results here regularly.

Good luck with your test but for me this strategy never worked. It reduces your CTR and does not effect CPC much either. So less revenue in the end.

You may receive some good results. Working with different ad placements may increase your CTR but you will never know unless you try it..

 

Please keep us updated. I was thinking of doing this using two sites and different placements.

 

I am interested with the result of this personal investigation. I just removed some adsense ads, leaving just one, in my sites.

 

Thank you for that and many people including me will look forward for the update
as it worked for me last time. But that was just around 1 week and I changed it
again the week after. I used to do alternates to get the best results I could have.

One of my friend said placing 2 link units and a single text link ads pays more than having 3 text links/image ads and 2 link unit ads. Like to know more on your experiment.

 

The experiment gives you good experiences. So experiment every time for the good results. All the best

 

I did this last year and LOST a lot. I ran the test for a month. It may work but just be careful not to lose track of how your adsense used to be.

 

If your page is long, e.g. 3 to 4 folds, a single ad is quite difficult to catch your users eyeball

 

In high volume industries like Insurance there are plenty of advertisers so additional ads can still pay. In less volume you are wise to reduce your number of Ads.

 

I am eager to see your updates. I did this a few times but always get mixed results
