    I like it. Cool. I'll be having a play with it later on.

    One key to your success would be getting the RSS feeds syndicated somewhere high profile. (But then isn't that always the way!)

    This is one of the great things about shoutwire that can bring a front page story 20,000+ hits.

    But more awareness for the blog reporter, obviously...

    Great idea - looks good so far.

    I agree - getting the RSS feed out there would be very helpful and is a natural connection witht he Blogging-world.

    I based it on the code that was based on the spanish code that was based on digg.

    Basically i got the script, it was rubbish, so i tweaked it :p

    You want this to be blog specific, right? Here is a place you have not caught yet:

    http://www.blogreporter.biz/submit.php

    It asks submitters to "Save people time by linking directly to the original news story.", but I think you want to make sure they link the to PermaLink, right?

    Looks good, personally the only thing I would improve is the domain name, something more catchy with a .com extension

    I think that keywords in domain name are very important. I actually spent a week trying to find an optimum domain name by using various keyword popularity tools. So thats the best one i could find.

    I was going to set up a digg clone too, but in a very specific niche.
    I still need to figure out how it works and find someone who can do it :)
