Hi all, I have just re-done my personal art gallery web page in Photoshop and was just curious to get different perspectives from different people about the look of the header, menu bar and background body etc....

and how does this site compare ot being pro looking, it's one of my greatest designs, I want to know how I stack up to otehr so-called pro's:

OK, thank you... appreciate your view point. If it was up to me I would still love the way websites were designed in the 90's, lol, but I need to keep up to date.

You moved my thread to the wrong section. I don't want a review of my website, I want tips and advice.

hi i think you need to make the "my art" text in the header more visable as it is blending into the background too much

Looks really good, some of the images take a while to load but overall, great.

You definitely have some skills, but this is not really my type of art. Your website is good though, as we can easily get an idea of your style.

Thank you all. Yeah the images take a while to load because as I said it is just a personal website for me so I am not so worried about peope with low-bandwidth as I would be worried if I was doing a page for someone else. Most people these days have hi-speed internet, so it is a small minority who have a problem with big images.

@phillippe2803 I am not sure if I have just one style... I can conform to whatever needs somone has, although and I am really disgusted by so-called new age (s0-called professional) design. As I have said before I still wish pages were designed like in the 90's, lol.
