How hard would it be to make an attractive banner?

 

Very Nice, just a few minor suggestions to fine tune

1. weight.While resolutions- space between weight. and While (small typo)

2. Maybe a catchier opening heading. Keep Your New Year’s Resolution is good, but kind of vague. Maybe a little more direct like "Lose That Weight in 2008" or something that hits a direct goal

3. Make your bullet points more pronounced. They look like periods and barely drew any attention. They supposed to catch the eye to focus on the benefits

4. And last, (not entirely necessary), cloak your affiliate links. Just to ensure your banners get good clicks..

Overall, It's a good sales copy, great design, and looks very nice.

 

Nice site. My suggestion is make it more attractive and hide your ClickBank ID from the user perspective. You may use the server site php script (if you are using the php) to create the links. For E.g.

Change to :

1) Create a file name as weighmeth.php file with the content below:

http://sgreen82.weighmeth.hop.clickbank.net/
exit;
?>

Are you making much money off that site?

 

I made it 2 days ago so I don't have much "if any" traffic right now. I am working on the SEO. I sold a fitness ebook last night but I think it came from my other fitness website www.onlinefitnessbooks.com.


I thought my site would pop up first in the google search for "best way to lose wieght" but I was wrong. Its not even listed.

 

How are you going to promote the site PPC or?

 

Planning on using SEO, but I really don't know much about it.

Look for threads in SEO category, they will help you

 

in firefox, the second banner is overlapping the one text column. And I would take smstome's advice and do some sort of serverside redirect so when someone looks at the url it could look like.. http://www.yoursite.com/?=somecode

might want to put some nofollow's on the affiliate links. I think google, yahoo and msn will trigger a hop, plus don't want to give them a reason to think your just an affiliate site.

 

How much affect does this have on your advertising click throughs? I've always gotten killed when it comes to clickbank so i'm still looking for the sure winning way to earn some money.
