Hi, I recently acquired a new blog. Specifically in the Design/Programming category, as I myself am a programmer. So I'm going to start posting a lot of youtube videos, code tutorial topics and so on. I've done very minor additions to it so far, like I added some of my Silvona youtube videos from earlier this year, and I rethemed the website using the bootstrap css framework... Perhaps some people can take a look at it, and give me some ideas of what I should do to improve the site.
It has a nice, clean design and some good content. Only thing I would suggest right off top is get rid of the tag cloud, they can hurt your seo Oh, and this is a biggie, you need to provide a way that people can sign up for your email list. You can put a form on your site through feedburner or getresponse, or Aweber or a site like one of those. You need to offer them a way to stay in touch with you Good luck.
I've gone through your blog, found it good enough to make me engaged for a while, but there are few deficiencies. Content is not Justified, its left align, secondly your images are not properly descriptive and dont fit to the topic. By fixing these two things, hope your blog will be more engaging. Thanks,
Perhaps my most recent blog posting the images are a little more descriptive. I recently wrote up an excellent tutorial for newbies to learn about scraping websites. http://www.netcrafted.com/scraping-tutorial/ For the most part its a simple one, though if it catches interest I'll do a much more advanced scraping tutorial.
