I really dont get this. I have started my compaign last week. Google shows a nice number of estimated clicks. I however dont even get a single impression. I have tried increasing my bids and nothing happened. Im a bit stuck here... May be its because i have not been approved yet? Its a new account. Compaign however has an "Active" status. Any ideas guys?

Make sure you have allowed search ads.
You may have to increase the bid.

New accounts are under review, but you should receive impressions on the first hour of every day.

You told that you do not have competitors so my best guess is that you're using no popular keywords ( almost no one google it).

So do the following for now:

1 - Double check that you have enabled "Search Network" box under your campaing settings.
2 - go to the keyword tool and add more keywords.
3 - wait 1 more week to your account be free from the "Account under review" Status.

Try increasing your daily budget. This may bring you "More Exposure". Advertisers having more "Daily Budget" gets the maximum exposure.

Here's a couple places you can look:

    Can't see your ad wizard

Why can't I see my ad?

I'm experiencing the same effects. Guess Google doesn't want our money! :) I'm guessing my CPM value may be too small, but have increased it daily. Beats me!

Follow that up with a question about conversions....:)

My adbrite experiences (i.e. conversions) have been less than great so far. That's a subject for another thread though:D

GuyFromChicago - It all depends on what ur selling or offering, I know people having great success. I might give it a crack and see if I can convert.

What I like about adbrite is that your ad is very visible right on top of the sites(s) for the most part that is, making it easy to get hits.

also, your ad plays a big part in getting clicks, I mean if you have something like "Free computer software's" you will load of hits :)

I'm sure it can generate some good conversions with the right ad/right landing page. My comment was based on head to head tests - AdWords vs Adbrite. I haven't targeted anything with Adbrite that I'm not already targeting with AdWords.

People forget the Daily Budget. it is very important to keep it slightly above your comfort level.

If your comfort level is $300 try to hold your breath and keep the daily budget at $500 or $600. Sit tight on the edge of chair and track the ads.

    Saturatory Warnig :
Never Do this while you are away from you Laptop. It can turn your Bank account bankrupt with in matter of hours if not done properly.

Always track the ROI more often than CTR. because for you it is ROI what matter most rather than the CTR.

Type in your keywords in to a google search and see if your ad appears down the side.

When I opened my account I think it took about 1 hour at the most before ads started displaying.

Is it true that sometimes they put you in an Adwords sandbox to make sure your credit card is 100% legit?

well figured out why my adwords were not showing.. I feel totally embarrased but I will share it with you guys. Firstly I want to say my ads did not show any signs of not being approved through the Adwords CP. After an email to adwords support, it turns out they were not approved because my destination url had a "POP-UP" ... a blank one at that but never the less was triggering their POP-UP blocker. I goofed because I took out the contents of my pop-up through an admin module on my site but I had not disabled the pop-up through the advertising admin. I feel like an idiot! So check your site for pop-up if your adwords are not showing up!

I have had many clicks from using Adbrite. The only problem that I find with some of the sites is that some of the cheaper advertising sites have so many ads on their site that they are just smothered.

There are many legit people there, but just like all places where money is concerned there is most likely to be a little fraud aswell.

    You get it everywhere though.
