My new adsense's strategy

    Hi!
I have a very well positioned site, is Nº1 in SERPS in the 10 most important keywords of its niche. Its a very well known site in the industry, that has 10.000 unique visitors daily.
Since a couple of weeks i realized that many adsense ad. appear with the url of the site and sometimes a telephone number. I think the enterprise that published on my site, wants that every people, click or not contact them.
So, I decided to block (or filter) the ads which have decided to put a telephone number on it. ¿Why will they earn a visitor or a phone call from my visitors while I don't get one cent from them?
¿What do you think about this? :)

For what it's worth I'll try and elaborate on the post above as it really wasn't that helpful......

I also don't think that you will do any better. The ads that show are supposed to be the better paying ones first (after all Google want's to maximise it's earnings too). The chances that someone would pick up the phone and just ring a website is VERY slim without them actually clicking to see the site first. People put phone numbers on their ads to appear more friendly to potential clickers... not for people to ring outta the blue :)

    Hope that helps

    James.

If I'll not get anything out of it, them either...

I don't think is fair. I don't earn money for impressions, so I think it must be forbidenn put a web site or a telephone number.
Once I visited a site, and was in a hurry so i saw the advertising, with an url and as didnt want to waste my time i wrote in a piece of paper the url, so i was be able to visit the site the day after.
Have a telephone number or a site's url in adsense adv. it's a fraud, it's a waste of money.

If google wasn't getting any clicks from those ads they wouldn't be appearing for long - they track all that stuff in the adwords campaigns. It's not really something to worry about so much to the point to set up a competitive filter.

Depends on the Industry. In the Travel Business only 1 of 10 reservations are booked online.

The flip side is some companies charge more to buy over the telephone than from a website.

I personally won't take the time to make a telephone call if I'm on the computer. I'll click the link then if I need to use the telephone to get additional information I'll call.

This is a tough one, but if it works for the advertiser they will keep doing it. Block them and see i8f your profits change if not then don't worry about it. What else can you do?

I'll do it for a while. May be there are people who click those ads, but it's not fair, you won't ear money at all by those who didn't click on them, is it?

What about the url of the site in the ad? So I can remember the url and get into another day??
I won't earn more, so i just will prove this for a while. My site is unique in its niche, may be in a couple of weeks, they'll realize that the don't get clicks from it for any reason, so will change their ad.

thanks you all for your opinions.
