Here's my dilemma in life. I run a network site that gets over 1.3 million page views daily (39~ million a month), money is good but would be better if the ad networks were not so unstable, so usualy make around 100-300 pounds daily.. maybe more if its a good month. The site has around 250 registrations per day and is in the top 30,000 sites worldwide in Alexa, around top 800 of the UK. My problem is I want to increase the member registrations, right now there is no SEO, no Advertising, no Investments from any 3rd party or any traffic exchanges. The site self sustains it's user(s) by word of mouth (95% direct traffic, 5% referral traffic from other networks) and an increasing volume of need from each member within the community helps keep the network alive. I've been running this project for over 4 years and I'm very unsure how to proceed to increasing its user base and volume of page hits. Any suggestions? I'm sorry if details are not specific about the network but as you know its sometimes not wise to discuss your private and business information on public chat forums, so I'm keeping this simple and to cause as little risk to my business as possible & thank you for understanding. My Dreams would be to increase the user base or registrations ten fold, making more money isn't a big deal to me as that will come with potentially more users active on the site, if anyone has any experience in a field of increasing new attention to new users then give me a shout, I would like to target Females potentially as they will convert better in the long run and are an investment for my type of network.
