MY NAME ELUDES ME!!!

Ok, So I've finally (After months of dabbling) thought of a name for my film production company. One thing bothers me though! I don't know what to end it with. I.E. Productions, Films, Picture's, Cinema, Entertainment, Studio, Media. I think I'm gonna avoid "Productions" as it's way to common. The one's I like are Pictures, Entertainment, Cinema, and Film but I really can't decide. Any help or advice would be appreciated. The name I've come up with is "Dark Fusion".

 

Just go with your gut feeling. For whatever reason I like Films. Sounds right to me.

 

Yeah, I'm trying to go with my gut. But my gut seems to be very indecisive lol. My wife likes Films as well, the one I'm leaning towards is Pictures, No Entertainment, No Films. See what I mean!! Thanks for your help though qwikad.

 

I think that 'Pictures', goes best with 'Dark Fusion'.
However the old adage remains the same, 'choose in haste repent at leisure'.

 

Thank you Paw42uk! In all honesty, I have been leaning towards Pictures. Oh, I definitely haven't rushed, I've been thinking for ages. Great saying though!!

 

I like Dark Fusion Entertainment because it offers the most flexibility as your business develops and the focus possibly changes as a result of market or other opportunities. With the word "Entertainment," you could be making movies, promoting concerts, organizing sporting events, etc. To start, you might launch the Pictures division of DFE with the idea of having other divisions as opportunities arise.

Of course, all of the names that you have suggested will work.

I like "Entertainment". It just *sounds* like people will experience a great show when they see your films. Sounds like you've put some thought into it, so no matter what you decide on, i'm sure your marketing strategy will carry you the rest of the way.

 

Entertainment and Productions sound more flexible in case if you want to deversificate your business

 

have you not thought of "Dark Fusion Media?" as media covers films, DVDs and posters etc if you expand to sales? That is what popped into my head after reading your list.

 

Yeah, I really like how it sounds with "Media" but I don't want people to think I do mainly web design and magazines etc. I still haven't decided though lol, keep changing my mind!!

You will be producing films, so, if anything, a keyword you want to emphasize should be the films.

By the way, are you always this doubtful and indecisive?

 

"Dark Fusion Media" sounds good to me.

 

when i hear media, i think games, software so dvds etc
