Hey there DP, THIS IS THE MOST important post I have written so far for this Forum. You might have seen me around posting here and then answering questions, and my biggest concern with this forum is seeing some curious folks askign questions( that's good) and being answered some false and out-of-this-world answers. ( by people that do not know anything bout SEO). THAT IS EXTREMELY BAD! Misinformation is what is slowing down a lot of SEO newcomers. SO I DECIDED TO MAKE SURE that you could know WHERE and WHOM to get Information from concerning SEO and making money online. (FOR FREE of course) Today I decided to write something that is worth more then a Ebook. In fact you can see it as hundreds of authority SEO ebooks. What makes a Ebook a high quality one is: having fresh information that is up to date and working. But where could you get all those ''hundreds of free ebooks'' for free? Pretty simple; you just need to know. Most SEO newbies won't know; and many high level Internet Marketers won't Known either were to get all the new daily SEO professional authority Information. So where am I going with all this? Well, there are hundreds of highly known web marketers that are involved in the web community and SEO community. They make a living out of SEO and they have different specialization and expertise. They usually are the marketers that are 3 step ahead of the rest of the mass. They know, they expect, they evolve. THEY KNOW!!! And they share! Yeah, this is the good part. Many of those web marketers have personal SEO blogs and they are willing to share their knowledge and expertise with the rest of the web population. And the information they share is the most precious SEO information that can be found on the internet. Some of these Experts have some very specialized blogs and there is enough information; actually more information then you will be able to grasp. At a certain point in your SEO evolution, you realize that you must specialized; the internet world is way too big and you can only succeed if you spend your time on some precise objectives and experiments. The blogs I am putting at your disposal will allow you to specialize if you want. LEARN THE SEO BASIC FIRST ( Can take months to years). I'm with you on the boatloads of bad advice in this industry though.. there is WAY too much of that going on in the forums to pad post counts. What I see as "good resources" it looks like you do as well. The SEOmoz, YOUmoz, Bruce Clay blog, Sitepoint podcasts (very informative), SEOBook, Search Engine Watch, Kissmetrics, WordStream's blog and a handful of others.
Well it is more then that. There is a lot of false, or outdated information going around; and people blindly believe and spread what they think is right. People come searching for answers and they are told some false information and THEY believe and apply it at their own risk and it may penalize them... Quality information is something hard to find.
