    Each person and his idea.

My thoughts were about a way that the other side will be most benefit.
Its not just getting the money for my venture. I was looking for a win win situation.

I believe that the business community will watch my progress (btw they already started).
I believe that the lottery will be covered by the media channels.
I believe that there is a good chance that it will broadcast live !

But hey... this is what I believe; Hopefully others will too.

How about the million dollar man? (No, not Ted DiBiase)

Each day an ugly naked guy threatens to take an item of clothing off if he doesn't get enough money.

You've got to aim high though; give him some time to proof his concept!

I think I have the best idea though. Inspired by a silly Dutch TV show...

You hide a shocking real photo behind 1 million pixels. Like a shot of a certai President having sex with a certain terrorits. Not Photoshopped of course.

Then people can buy them away to uncover the pic. Best to take a picture with multiple events in it so they need to clear the entire surface to get the picture. Which reminds me of the stupid TV show which was called 'Get the Picture'.

I am still at a loss as to what this site is about... your selling pixels? Your going to give away money?

are you asking for investors? why?

why are you talking about this and no working on it?

Then I can without doubt consider pixelad being better (cheaper) than banners. In two months, we had 13666 clicks on all icons (3192 on paid icons). And the CPC is $0.06, $0.05 and $0.11 (respectively for the three paid icons). Of course, the CPC can only go down since there is still a minimum of 1744 days to go. Now compare to banners, text links or anything else.

Well as of the time of this post ... your pixel site is cleaner than my closet. ZERO - NADA ... Why don't you sell the pixels and provide the buyers with SHARES in your company or something wacky like that?

Indeed, this is an excellent idea. That sounds very good. Especially with a company already registered. Shay, you should really consider it, that would be new (and maybe attractive). If you don't pick the idea, I may do. I don't know if it would be possible practicaly.

To be honest I feel uncomfortable writing my respond on this.
I have the feeling that are not quite understand what you are saying, or maybe just try to make an argument.

    I will try anyway.

Alex's homepage got lots of unique visitors every day.
Let’s be conservative . Suppose he only got 50,000 pages view per day and each exposure cost $0.05. Also, suppose that his website is popular only for one month (30 days). Do the math and you will get a mega banner worth on that site worth $75,000 !!!

Of course none of what I've mentioned above is even close to the truth - his visitor rates were 5 times higher than that in just the last month.

Why do you think his auction went so well?
Why someone will pay the actual price mentioned above?
Yep..... exposure . Sales is a numbers game, the more exposure, the higher the sales...period.

And... to answer your next question.
When I will accomplish my goal, more people will be watching. Why? Because everyone will ask: How did he recreate Alex’s success where so many tried and failed ?

What I am offering is the chance to get extremely high exposure, cheaper, and for the longest period of time possible.

So.... do you still have a $20 banner to offer that will give that benefit? ;)

    MLM pixel sites.
Pixel sites where you can buy banner impressions at the top.
Pixel sites where the banners at the top are only banners of pixel purchasers.
Pixel sites where you can buy pixels from one cent per to 25 bucks per.
But most pixel sites do not say how long they will be around.
Who wants to purchase pixels on a site and 3-6 months later, no pixel site?

Many pixel sites say they will be online for 1, 3, 5, 10 and even 20 years. That said, I have no idea if they will be or not. Probably a matter of trust. I have set mine at 5 years. Seems reasonnable (I have a dedicated server with other websites of mine).
I guess no one. But I also think some pixel webmasters are serious.

Are now a dime a dozen!
Heck, I sell a script to set up pixel sites!
Even just finished finally putting up my own pixel site.
Will sell pixels there for one cent!

Yeah, more and more, I see gimmicky pixel sites.
    MLM pixel sites.
Pixel sites where a purchaser has their banner rotated on top (see, the idea is being used now).
Pixel sites that give away, like another post, ipods, computers, etc etc etc

With so many pixel sites coming on line daily, what media would get excited about a me-too product?

Just like classified ad sites, they will be nothing exciting to place an ad on.

No but you're welcome to advertise your website there (if you think it is usefull).
This is a small friendly community exclusively for people running a pixel-ad site. So be aware you will get only help and positive feedback.
