    Update:
I've got few emails from venture capital firms.
At this point I am sticking with my original plan though I've got some nice offers from them.

As for now there are 6 registered advertisers.
None of them made an order. I guess they sitting on the fence :)

The first to purchase an ad, will be mentioned in my blog.

So... who is going to be....... ?

Okay, let me get this straight. You've been in the Internet business for 10 years and have been developing something for the past 18 months. Is this it? Also, venture capital firms want to invest in this?

how you going to advertise? ofcourse it's not new idea so there is no way to make it popular without advertisement.

    Almost correct.
I did not send my business plan any VC. They don't talk about to invest in the traditional way.
I guess I succeeded to get some of their intention so they suggest to be involved (and you can guess what they are looking for).

I am sticking with my original plan.

As I wrote in my FAQ page:
Why don’t you try to raise money from venture capital firms ?
I was getting ready to do that. Then I came up with the idea of using a million pixel website together with a lottery to raise the money. I believe that my idea is a WIN-WIN situation so why not to do it.

Why not make the pixel an image that gradually gets formed as pixels are bought.

This is my 3rd venture that I am involved with.
After all I have more then 10 years of experience.
Lets say that I started with my Sinclair ZX Spectrum 64K back when I was 8 years old :)

I don't want to say much at this point, because this will ruin the hype that I am planning, but one of the products that I developed few years ago, "some of you" are familiar with.

There wasn't a 64K Spectrum, only 16,48 and 128K if memory serves. Jeez and I had them all at one time or another.

This reminds me of my first memory upgrade, 16K to 48K. I think I had to send the speccy back to Sinclair to get them to solder it.

Its more then fun. How about responsibility ?
To see the families of whom you are paying salaries, that is what keep me motivated.
I dont know how many of you are familiar with this kind of situation, but managing a venture usually involve with high demands; mentally and financially.

I was exclusively speaking about a pixel-ad website.
Managing a startup is something else.
Anyway fun and responsability are perfectly compatible.
And in a customer point of view, I prefer to rely on people that like their job than people that want (mainly) a salary.

    Hi and welcome.

My personal belief is that this really wont take off because it will not capture peoples imagination in the same way Mr T did.

i am keeping an eye on this million dollar startup because i think this guy is deluded if he thinks he will earn any money, at best he may get a few investers and recoup a little of the cash, maybe even pay for a few pints.

Now the guy with the million dollar screenshot has a lot more chance, that is far more original but at the end of the day it is still just a rip off
