    My partner told everyone he knows about the site we both made even after I keep telling him to stop. Word of mouth advertising is good but not with adsense. How do you get your partner/friends/family/etc to stop telling people?

    lol, Tell him that you are making money just dont tell him that you are making money through Adsense.
    And if he your partner then make him read and understand TOS completely so that he can understand all the do's and dont's. simple.

    I could tell you how, but it would involve a stop word for adsense, which means someone on these forums might receive less revenue.

    I've seen and have had others on this forum even say, what is your url where you have adsense, I would need to see it to help.

    Yea, lol when we can't even trust friends, why would anyone be foolish enough to give the url(s) to strangers on this forum. I don't know anyone here personaly. It's a great place for question and answer help, but that's it, and it's like that on any internet place.

    But that just comes down to the people you interact with online.

    I know a few people from this forum that I have met offline, had real indepth discussions about our sites, exchanges - whatever...
    I also know others who I haven't met offline, but would still be more than happy to show tham my new sites, because they aren't the types of people who click on ads for the sake of it...

    this isn't limited to friends, i've often had users email me about being happy with the service i provide and as a form of thanks visited all the links/ads across my site, some of them being adsense.
