i like the forum design but the purple background has nothing to do with the site.. i suggest you to put a green background or a background with small marijuana leaves hhehe
Purple is a color synonymous with weed ;] . Besides, a green on green background is terrible. This makes it stick out.
One idea you might consider for your actual main site (Forum looks good, btw)... Tie it in with Congressman Ron Paul's most excellent views on MJ (May he be elected President!). It's an extremely hot topic to do a media anchor. For inspiration, goto YouTube and punch in "ron paul" +marijuana (perhaps even round up the best of the embeddable ones and post them on your main page).
Add a chat room for stoned people, would be a laugh. Idea you have is similar to mine, I bought stonedonline.net and will be working on it once I can find a good spliff!
