why isit when I use gimp to fill in the background of my logo it come in a different color. even though i use the right color code it comes in grey instead of blue see the header mudac(dot)com
I know in Photoshop, if you are trying to edit a .gif that has already been saved, you are limited to the color palette it was saved with. Try copying the image into a new document and then saving it into your optimized format. Also make sure you are in the right editing mode, RGB, CMYK,ect.. and not greyscale.
are you sure you selected to save it with a transparent background? and that there is no background layer ?
This is likely it, you have a color pallette that is restricting what colors you can use. Convert it to RGB under the image menu.
