    My 14 year old brother got caught making out with his gf in the girls bathroom by the vice principal herself. He's heading into a meeting today along with my mom and he faces possible expulsion...my question is, can you really be expelled for something like that? I could see a 7 day suspension, but if everything was consenting I think an expulsion is a little harsh. What do you guys think?

    I would think the punishment was directed more towards the fact that he was in a place where he shouldn't be - i.e. the girls' bathroom. Those are totally off-limits to boys, even if invited in by a girl. I don't assume expulsion would come from "making out" at school.

    Is the girl also in this much trouble as your brother?

    It really depends on the school, some of the schools have iron clad laws and some tend to be more relaxed. Depending on which school your brother is in. But I do think expulsion is kinda harsh, quite disruptive to your brother's education having to find a new school and adapt to the environment. Hope for the best!

    Suspending him for 7 days is WAY to harsh, never mind kicking him out, lol.

    I think a 2 day suspension and detention for 1 week is suitable.

    I don't know anything about this girl -- my little brother lives with our Mom, and I don't live in the same house as they're in.

    Yeah, I'll definitely follow up on this thread...I'll be finding out this afternoon what the judgment is.

    Hellz yeah, he should have gotten it on in the boys bathroom or in the bleachers somewhere :p

    Just tell your brother to say that vice principal told him and explained him how to make out with the girl in her bathroom ;) then your bro will have no problems and the vice principle will be expelled after the meeting.

    I hate lies, but that's the only way when people become strict to a 14 year old kid, its the schools responsibility to make these things not to happen, its the schools fault.

    Schools are taking this zero tolerance too far, IMHO. My friends 5 year old grandson was sent home from kindergarten when he built a gun out of lego's. OK let's get real here.....he's 5 years old. What was he going to do? Shoot playdoe at the teacher? My dad use to bring home cap guns for me at that age!

    I think kicking out of a school is a big mistake on the school's part. He can be punished little harshly like 10 days suspension... Please post the result here about the inquiry. Curious to know what happened?

    That's really harshlike suspension for 7 to 10 days, however, really depends on the school, and only VP knows?! I hope your brother will be fine. Just be careful next time. :D

    Making out? would not of even thought it would be one of the rules you'd have to follow, i go to school girls & guys are making out in the corridor teachers,heads,mangers walk past and don't give a damn. What country/location do you come from?
