one click installer cana be used to install themes plugins using a form..no need of FTP..i think that's vberymuch required...

 

Not a plug in per sé but, the A-Z Navigation for wordpress is very useful, i have it on a few websites.

 

Permalink Redirect is a great plugin for preventing duplicate content.

 

I dont know why but I am not able to downlaod adsense deluxe from any site?? Not even wordpress official site!!! Beats me.

 

I had some trouble with all in one seo, I dont remember what, but I just remember deactivating it, I have it on my dashboard but dont use it

why do you have /articles/?

Get rid of that and just keep the postname

I haven't used adsense deluxe though i have downloaded it, may be i will try it.....but for the present i am using shylock adsense. its easy and good too.

 

Askismet is amazing! Otherwise I should waste my time clearing all the comments.

 

You really don't have to do anything once you download and activate it. Although there are a few options that you can configure if you want.

What it does is make sure that your site's urls can only be accessed through one version. Thus preventing duplicate content.

Example: You create a post http://www.example.com/my-cool-article/ It can be accessed at both this url http://www.example.com/my-cool-article/ and at this url http://www.example.com/my-cool-article

The last example is missing the ending /

The plugin 301 redirects http://www.example.com/my-cool-article into http://www.example.com/my-cool-article/
