Okay I have a blogger about bodybuilding coupons and tips.

Here it is so you can help me more efficiently: http://bodybuildingdiscounts.blogspot.com

Just wondering would it be better to get a domain name or not? Also my plans:

    Plans:
Bookmark all my posts to at least 5 social bookmarking sites each. (should I write new content for the article sites or no?
Post on as many directories as I can, at least 10.
Set up squidoo and hub pages and link to it.
    Link exchange?

Tell me what works and what doesn't and what else I should change to get my page a higher SERP and PR.

Getting your own domain name early is a must (plus its cheap).

Note the power of twitter - try and get a post out on there ASAP

I see many people using it, but I'm not sure if it would work for my bodybuilding niche? You think?

About the domain, I think I might, domains are only 10 bucks hosted by blogger a year, no hosting charges. My alexa rank is only 11,000,000 should I get the domain as soon as possible?

I would definitely get your own domain name. Then I would follow through with your plan. It sounds like a good idea so far. It will be a good deal of work but useful in the end.

With the social media, make sure you don't just bookmark your blog or they will penalize you. Good luck!

I think your SEO game plan might be a little better if you get your own domain name. Make sure you keywords are in the name for an SEO boost.

Yes, it is worth having a domain. Not only is it cheap, but all your effort of link building goes to your efforts and reputation rather than Google's.

I find it also better to switch to Wordpress, because the plugins make it so much easier, and I've been using blogspot for over 3 months. But ever since the switch to Wordpress and having my own domain, it was a lot easier for me and my readers. Traffic wise is increasing steadily as well.

A lot of mistakes there. Get a domain name if you want to invest and later make money from this site.

Bookmark all my posts to at least 5 social bookmarking sites each. (should I write new content for the article sites or no? - Yes, you should write new content. SB sites don't want you to bookmark your own pages so be careful.

Post on as many directories as I can, at least 10. - I use directories for getting massive inbound low quality links. Make that 1000. Many directories won't accept blogspot blogs, so don't waste your time and money on that.

Set up squidoo and hub pages and link to it. - Sure. You should do this.

Link exchange? - That's a step you can avoid completely.

thanks a lot for your tips! Should I host it through blogger or get a wordpress account? BTW, I already make $150 or so a month from it, think it can get higher? Also does anyone know the cost of using Wordpress's advances features like customization, per year?
