I've just put together my Link Building Checklist but I'd like to know what I'm missing and I figured this would be the best place to ask! So what other methods should I include as I try to build more links to my site?? Thanks
Far from all-encompassing. Forum sigs and blog comments do have some value but it is very small. The best ways to get links are by providing content that people like and will naturally link to. Whether it's link bait or some kind of tool that you made. Or maybe a widget or software, these kinds of things. Paid reviews is EXTREMELY risky. Google is on teh warpath and good for them. I've taken out a few competitors by mining their backlinks and providing a report to Google. A tactic I will continue to use and almost as good as SEO because in my industry it's prevalent.
Glad you enjoyed them NexDog: I didn't realise those sort of practices were so common, it's a very interesting strategy.
I think you have given nice tip in your blog. That is most significant for one to know before starting link building. One shoud make sure about the incoming links should not be nofollow. Its a good information regarding link building.
