Hi, You probably don't know me as I haven't been online on DP for a while but I'm a developer and webmaster i'm currently working on a new tool, something on the level of commenthut, you know it can scan and find sites that have available slots to post comments. I'm looking from some community insite as to what all it should be capable of and what kinda of price you as the community think it would be worth. As of right now my first internal beta supports Wordpress Wordpress.com DasBlog TypePad and a few platforms for hunting, but i was wondering if theirs any specific types of blogs that would be good to have it able to hunt down. You enter keyword and it finds X amount of blog entries from each type of blog that you have selected. After you have the blogs you can check which have PR ratings, and which are dofollow/nofollow/unknown. What else would make this something you might consider buying to help you in SEO? Right now it's about neck in neck feature wise with commenthut maybe a few less used features arent included (yet) but if i hear them requested i might add them. Also as of now i haven't thought of a price to start selling the app for once its completed, i'm sorry i can't give it away for free, and comment hut is currently selling for $97 so i definitly want to undercut them, but considering i want to make it worthwhile to release the app and continue to update it what kind of price would you think an app like this could fetch? Please no BS comments or irrelevant comments i'm really looking for community insight to develop and release a quality tool. Best Regards EDIT: one other question, can someone tell me WTF the point of finding squidoo and hubpages is? i mean the comments are never dofollow i mean i can include them in the hunting like commenthut but can you tell me why?
there might not be too many of them as after hunting im seeing around 100-200k blogs with no filtering of keywords but ill include it
yes but by adding it in maybe more people will install the plugin - i'd love to have my comment on 200,000 blogs which inluded a direct link to my last post plus a link to my homepage
