(it's only a very small site) I've tried to keep the layout and style very simple to emphasize the ads instead, but as it has only just gone online and there aren't any ads yet it's going to look pretty black and bare for now. First impression - Wow! It leaves me thinking whether you've got something to add. The concept is good - I like it. Well, it's as bare as you said.
I know on your home that classifieds and auctions is intuitive but to a person there the first time I see a guy with a bicycle and a mouse. Maybe you could spell it out. Also, on the bid side, the home link doesn't work. Best of luck to you.
