You're right. All it takes is abit of html, css... and ... what some have mentioned already - a good domain name!

    Here's my simple entry: http://www.doubleboost.com

DOUBLE your money, BOOST your traffic :p

Hat's off to mmmzr for the new ad selling technique! (I wish I caught onto this thread earlier when his prices were cheap - I would have definitely have bought a whole row!)

Edit: oops. just saw TOPS30's post so I've made my own thread just in case: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?p=1665715#post1665715

You can't expect hundreds of people paying thousands of dollars for spots everyday

What do you call a copy cat that is doing almost as well as the real one? Today is my sites first day.

Calm down dude, obviously a good idea is going to get used a lot. Just look at what happened to pixel advertising!

And as long as your one of the very fist copies, and promote right, you have a very good chance. Eventually, there will be so many it will be worthless...

Props to you! Today is my first day as well, though you have jumped up quite high! Currently I'm focusing on doing a full automation process with Paypal's API, PHP, and a mySQL DB. Once my site is fully on autopilot, I'm going to do a lot of advertising.

This really looks like a Ponzi scheme to me. Later "investors" will have a much lower chance of getting their funds back as interests and traffic die in this sort of site.

Here's little more background on Ponzi schemes.

The last ones who buy the most expensive ads will have the least chances to recover their investment IMO.
But if people keep talking about it, they may eventually get their investment and could make some profit.
    Risky.

Yeah. the real money is in the bottom $1 ads. I reckon they might even be the most viewed ads cos people naturally look at the top and scroll down and look at the bottom. The $1 ads are probably get more hits than the $8 or $16 ones
